AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 36-902(12) OF THE
SALINA CODE, AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 36-902(12) of the Salina Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 36-902(12). No sign shall be permitted to locate
on public property in any district. In any commercial
district, signs may extend over public property no
farther than eight feet (8') or to within two feet (2')
of the back of the curb, whichever distance is smaller.
Any sign so extending must be a minimum of ten feet
(10') above grade."
Section 2. That the existing Section 36-902(12) of the Salina Code is
hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
