AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF DECATUR
STREET, A PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That a portion of right-of-way of Decatur Street, in the
City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, described as follows:
The South ten (10) feet of Decatur Street from the east line of
Seventh Street to the west line of the alley in Block 8, adjacent
to Lot 1, Calkins Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas
be and the same is hereby vacated, provided however, the City retains the
vacated street right-of-way as a utility easement.
Section 2. That the above named portion of Decatur Street, which is
vacated by this ordinance, shall revert to the adjacent property owners in
accordance with K.S.A. 13-443,
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
