ORDINANCE NUMBER 81-8844

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, IN
CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519 TO 12-526, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
A tract of land located in the Northwest Quarter (NW/4) and the
Southwest Quarter (SW/4) of Section Twenty (20), Township Fourteen
(14) South, Range Two (2) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in
Saline County, Kansas, being more particularly described as follows:
1. Beginning at a point on the west line of said Northwest Quarter
(NW/4) that is two hundred twenty feet (220') north of the
southwest corner of said Northwest Quarter (NW/4);
2. Thence east parallel to the south line of said Northwest Quarter
(NW/4) a distance of three hundred ninety-six feet (396');
3. Thence south and parallel to the west line of said Northwest
Quarter (NW/4) a distance of two hundred twenty feet (2201) to
the north line of said Southwest Quarter (SW/4);
4. Thence east along the north line of said Southwest Quarter (S!4/4)
a distance of one hundred twenty-six and sixty-seven hundredths
feet (126.67');
5. Thence south and parallel to the west line of said Southwest
Quarter (SW/4) a distance of two hundred fifty feet (2509;
6. Thence west and parallel to the north line of said Southwest
Quarter (SW/4) a distance of five hundred twenty-two and sixty-
seven hundredths feet (522.67') to the west line of said Southwest
Quarter (SW/4);
7. Thence north along the west line of said Southwest Quarter (SW/4)
and said Northwest Quarter (NW/4) a distance of four hundred
seventy feet (470') to the point of beginning.
(Said tract contains 5.00 acres, more or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A.
12-519 to 12-526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
