AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF SCANLAN
AVENUE BETWEEN SCHILLING ROAD AND JUMPER ROAD IN THE SCHILLING SUBDIVISION IN
THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That a portion of Scanlan Avenue in the Schilling
Subdivision in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, described as follows:
Scanlan Avenue between the south line of Schilling Road
and the north line of Jumper Road
be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 2. That the City reserves a utility easement in said vacated
street, together with the right to use any or all of said vacated street for the
purpose of drainage.
Section 3. That the street hereby vacated shall revert to the adjacent
property owners in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 13-443.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
