82-8942 Police PowerORDINANCE NUMBER 82-8942 (Published in The Salina Journal U�'� 1982) AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE POLICE POWER OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE THE CITY -COUNTY BUILDING, LIBRARY AND THE PARKING LOT ADJACENT THERETO; AMENDING SECTION 1-10 OF THE CITY CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That Section 1-10 of the Salina Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 1-10. Police power extended to city property. The police power of the city is hereby extended to include all lands or property owned or leased by the city or any agency of the city, including the City -County Building, Library and the common area and parking area adjacent thereto, and the general ordinances of the city shall be applicable on such property." Section 2. That the existing Section 1-10 of the Salina Code is hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
