AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE C-ITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS, IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526,
INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
The north one half of the Southeast Quarter (NISEI)
of Section Three (3), Township Fifteen (15) South,
Range Three (3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian
in Saline County, Kansas, except a tract consisting
of approximately 3.4 acres described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of said
Southeast Quarter (SEJ) of Section Three (3);
Thence south along the west line of said
Southeast Quarter five hundred sixty-three
feet (5631); Thence in a northeasterly
direction seven hundred seventy-three and
four -tenths feet (773.41) to a point on the
north line of said Southeast Quarter five
hundred twenty-five feet (5251) east of the
northwest corner of this Southeast Quarter
(SES); thence west along the north line of
said Southeast Quarter five hundred twenty-
five feet (5251) to the place of beginning.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A.
12-519 to 12-526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That all property described in Section 1 hereof shall be
classed as lying in District "RS", SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
