84-9000 Vacate Avalon Drive1 1 (Published in The Salina Journal ge)o 10 , 1984) AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE VACATION OF AVALON DRIVE AND THE ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMITS IN PARK WEST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS; AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 8603 BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That Ordinance Number 8603 be amended to read as follows: Section 1. That Avalon Drive, a public street in Park est dd- ition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, described as follows: All of Avalon Drive which lies between the West right-of-way line of Broadway Boulevard and the east right-of-way line of Armory Road, which is adjacent to Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Block "B", and Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, Block "C", Park West Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, be and the same is hereby vacated. Section 2. That the above described portion of Avalon Drive, which s vacated by this ordinance shall revert to the adjacent property owners in accordance with K.S.A. 13-443. Section 3. That accel and decel lanes be constructed on Broadway boulevard at the entrance of the vacated Avalon Drive. Section 4. No building permit shall be issued for Lots 2, 3, and 4, Block "B", and for Lots 6, 7, and 8, Block "C" or any portion thereof, unless said building permit includes additional property which has public access to a public street as provided by the lot size requirements of the appropriate zoning classification. Section 2. That Ordinance Number 8603 is hereby repealed. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
