AN ORDINANCE NAMING A STREET AND DESCRIBING ITS LOCATION WITHIN THE
CITY LIMITS OF SALINA, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That MARKLEY ROAD is located and described as follows:
A street located in the East half (E2) of Section Twenty
(20), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the
Sixth Principal Meridian and the East half (E2) of Section
Twenty-nine (29), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2)
West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the north line of Section Twenty
(20), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the
Sixth Principal Meridian that is five hundred thirty-nine
feet (539') east of the northwest corner of the Northeast
Quarter (NE4) of said Section Twenty (20);
Thence southerly to a point on the south line of said Section
Twenty (20) that is five hundred ninety-seven feet (597')
east of the southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter (SE')
of said Section Twenty (20);
Thence continuing southerly a distance of one thousand five
hundred feet (1,500') to a point that is five hundred ninety-
seven feet (597') east of the west line of the Northeast
Quarter (NE4) of Section Twenty-nine (29), Township Fourteen
(14) South, Range Two (2) West of the Sixth Principal
Meridian;
Thence easterly along a line parallel with the south line of
said Section Twenty (20) a distance of one hundred feet
(100');
Thence northerly to a point on the south line of said Section
Twenty (20) that is six hundred ninety-seven feet (697') east
of the southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of said
Section Twenty (20);
Thence continuing northerly to a point on the north line of
said Section Twenty (20) that is six hundred thirty-nine feet
(639') east of the northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter
(NE4) of said Section Twenty (20);
Thence westerly along the north line of said Section Twenty
(2.0) a distance of one hundred feet (100') to the point of
beginning.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
