AN ORDINANCE LEVYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS AGAINST CERTAIN
PROPERTY TO PAY THE COST OF SIDEWALK REPAIR ON CERTAIN LOTS AND
PARTS OF LOTS IN THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby levied and assessed
against each of the lots and parts of lots herein described a special tax or
assessment for the purpose of paying the cost of sidewalk repair on said lots
and parts of lots, said sidewalks having been repaired as provided for by
K.S.A. 12-1808, pursuant to notice duly mailed to the property owners, and the
various amounts set forth opposite the following described lots and parts of
lots to -wit:
ORIGINAL TOWNSITE
Lot 73, Santa Fe Avenue $2,800.00
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed and authorized to
immediately certify the assessments made in Section 1 of this ordinance to the
County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, to be placed upon the tax roll for
collection, subject to the same penalties and collected in like manner as other
taxes are collected.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city
newspaper.
