Regular meeting ofthe Board of Commissioners August 1, 1939.
h.eeting was called to order by iilayor liiorgenstern, the roll was
called and Commissioners iMlorgenstern, Branson and Verm and City Attorney
Norris responded. Commissioner Breon absent, Commissioner 14itchell
deceased.
The minutes of the Regular Meetin; of July 24, 1939 were read
and approved a s read. I
Application for taxicab drivers license for 1939 received from:
Sereno Bartell.�
On motion of Commissioner Fern application was approved by the
Board of Commissioners. IMiotion adopted.
W. E. Barcafer, 616 North Ninth Street, asked for a prmit to !
construct a brick building with eight -inch wall. Commissioner Ferm
moved that permit be granted. Lotion adopted.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Branson the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and i
the following vote was had; Ayes: 1rorgenstern, Branson and Ferm (3)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Breon absent and Commissioner litchell deceased.
