Meeting was called to order by Mayor i'dorgenstern, the roll was
called and Commissioners Morgenstern, Branson, Breon and Fern and
City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Mitchell absent.

The minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 17, 1939 were read

and approved as read.
Applications for taxicab drivers license for the year 1939
were received from:
R. D. Howry,
Dick Adams,
Commissioner Breon moved that applications be approved by
the Board of Commissioners. iviotion adopted.
City ,.Tanager Brown, submitted to the Board of Commissioners,
the tentative budget for the year 1940. On motion of Commissioner
Breon, PIonday, August 14, 1939 at 4:30 P. M. was fixed as the date
for public hearing on said budget, as provided by law. Motion
adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Branson the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
