Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners July 17, 1939.
'Meeting was called to order by Mayor :Morgenstern, the roll was called
and Commissioners Morgenstern, Branson, Breon, Ferm and Mitchell and
City Attorney Norris responded.

The minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 10, 1939 were read
and approved as read.
Applications for taxicab drivers license for 1039 was received {

Commissioner Branson moved that applications be approved by the
Board of Corriraissioners. T,otion adopted.
In reference to the petition received from A. O. Smith, asking
for the rezoning of Lot 7, Block 12, Oakdale Addition, Commissioner
Branson moved that if 1,e gets the signature of Irs. Chas. Lay and
Joann Geis, the petition will be granted. Motion adopted.
in ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Breon the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption, the roll was called
and the following; vote had;. Ayes: Tvlorgenstern, Branson, Breon,
Ferm and Kitchell (5) Nays: 0) llayor approved the ordinance and
it is numbered A-37.
Commissioner Breon moved that the claim of Butters Pump and. --
Equipment Company in the amount of -"4, 637.47 be approved by the Board
of Jommissioners. Ttlotion adopted.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Branson the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption, the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Morgenstern, Branson, Breon,
Ferm and blitchell (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the ordinance and
it is numbered A-38.

ordinance relating to and apportioning and. levying special assess-
ments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina,
Kansas, to parr the cost of constructing Idain Sanitary Sower "R" and
Lateral Sanitar7T Sewers in Lateral Sanitary Sewer Districts numbered
1790 1800 181, 182 and 183 and relating to and providing for the
collection and payment of such a ssessments."
On motion of Commissioners Branson the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption, the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Morgenstern, Branson, Breon,
Ferm, and Mitchell (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the ordinance and
it is numbered 4936.
On motion of Commissioner Ferm the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
