JUNE 26, 1939.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners June 26, 1939.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor l'orgenstern, the roll was called
and Commissioners Morgenstern, Branson, Breon and Ferm and City
Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Mitchell absent.

The minutes of the Regular Meeting of June 19, 1939 were read
and approved as read.
Mr. John Pugh submitted a plan for the erection of a building
at State Jtreet and Olive Street. On motion of Commissioner Ferm same i
was granted by the Board of Commissioners, provided building be set back
25 feet on each street. Motion adopted.

An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making ap-
propriation for payment of certain claims."
On motion of Corzmissioner Branson the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Morgenstern, Branson, Breon and
Ferm (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Mitchell absent. Mayor approved
the ordinance and it is numbered A-33.

appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Branson the ordinance wasr ead and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Morgenstern, Branson, Breon and
Ferm (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Mitchell absent. Mayor approved the
ordinance and it is numbered A-34.
A petition was presented asking for the rezoning of Lot 7, Block
12, Oakdale Addition from residential to commercial. Petition was re-
ferred to the City Planning Commission.
The following application for Cereal Malt Beverage License was
presented:

Commissioner Branson moved that application be granted by the
Board of Commissioners and that the City Clerk be instructed to issue
license to said applicant. Motion adopted.
Commissioner Ferm moved that the City continue the payment of
125.00 per month for rent to the Free Employment Office. Motion
adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Ferm the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
