Special meeting of the Board of Commissioners June 26, 1939.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was called
and Commissioners Morgenstern, Branson, Breon and Ferm and City
Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Mitchell absent.
Meeting was held for the purpose of acting on the following
appraisers reports:
For constructing Lateral Sanitary Sewer No. 179 located in
alley running north and sough a ween en an eventh Streets from
Pacific to Harsh Streets;
For constructing Lateral Sanitary Sewer No. 180 located in
Twelfth Street between Pres�t Avenue and Craw ord Avenue;
For constructing Lateral Sanitary Sewer No. 181 located in Mt.
Barbara Park Addition;
For constructing Lateral Sanitary Sewer No. 182 located in Mt.
Barbara Park Addition;
For constructing Lateral Sanitary Sewer No. 183 located in Mt.
Barbara Park Addition;

The appraisers report for the construction of Lateral Sanitary
Sewer Number 179 was taken up and read as follows:

We, John Frederick, E. D. Martin and L. W. Carl, being duly
and severally sworn according to law, each icor himself, does hereby
solemnly swear that he is disinterested in any of the property liable
to special assessment for the cost of constructing Lateral Sanitary
Sewer No. 179 located in alley running north and south between Tenth
and Eleventh Streets from Pacific to Harsh Streets, as more particu-
larly described and provided for in Ordinance.Number 4922 of the City
of Salina, Kansas, and that each of us will to the best of our judgment
and ability make a true and impartial appraisement of all the lots and
pieces of ground abutting on such alley as above mentioned, without
regard to the buildings or improvements thereon for the distance im-
proved as set forth and designated by the Board of Commissioners in
