COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
JU11E 19, 1939.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners June 19, 1939.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll wast alled
and Commissioners Morgenstern, Branson, Breon and Ferm and City At-
torney Norris responded. Commissioner Mitchell absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of June 12, 1939 were read
and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
appropriation for the payment of certain claims,"
On motion of Commissioner Branson the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vot� vas had; Ayes: Morgenstern, Branson, Breon and
Ferm (4) Nays: 0 Commissioner Mitchell absent. Mayor approved
the ordinance and it is numbered A-32.
Automobile endorsement was received cancelling insurnace for
1937 Plymouth Sedan, Motor No. P4-194136, Serial No. 1203732, owned
by R. T. Snelgrove. City Clerk was instructed to notify Mr. Snelgrove
of such cancellation. Motion adopted.
The appraisers reportsfor the construction of the following
sewers were received:
Main Sanitary Sewer "Rn located in East Iron Avenue from
Delaware venue to West Lane ive in Mt. Barbara Park Addition;
Lateral Sanita Sewer No. 179 located in alley running north
and sou between Tenth and EleVenth STreets from Pacific to liarsh
Streets;
Lateral Sanitary Sewer No. 180 located in -Twelfth Street
between rescott Avenue and Craw7rord venue;
Lateral Sanitary Sewer No. 181 located in Mt. Barbara nark
Addition;
Lateral Sanitary Sewer No. 182 located in Mt. Barbara Park
Addition:
Lateral Sanitar
Addition; p Sewer No. 183 located in Mt. Barbara Park
On motion of Commissioner Ferm, Monday, June 26, 1939 at 4:30
P. M. was designated as a Special Meeting at whicli time the above men-
tioned reports will be taken up and acted on by the Board of Commis-
siom rs, and the City Clerk was instructed to publish notice of such
meeting in the official City paper as provided by law. Motion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Breon the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
