BE IT REI.RD4BERED, that on this Friday evening, April 7, 1939, the
Board of Commissioners met as Board of Canvassers, (ex -officio) as pro-
vided by law, to canvass the vote cast at the Regular City Election held
in Salina, Kansas, April 4, 1939.

Meeting was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was
called and Commissioners Morgenstern, Branson, Ferm, Jackson and Mitchell
and City Attorney Norris responded.

The returns of the City Election were presented by the City Clerk
and opened in the presence of the Commissioners assembled, duly canvassed
and the result declared, and the City Clerk was directed by vote of the j
Board to spread upon the records the result of the canvass which is done
as follows:
