Neeting was called to order by Mayor IYiorgenstern, the roll was called
and Commissioners i;iorgenstern, Branson, Ferm, Jackson and Irlitchell and
City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 6, 1939 were read
and approved as read.
Applications for taxicab drivers license for the year 1939 re-
ceived as follows:

On motion of Commissioner Ferm applications were approved by the
Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted.

Commissioner Branson moved that applications be approved by the
Board of Commissioners and that the City Clerk be directed_ to issue li-
cense to the above named applicants. Motion adopted.

The matter of granting W. B. IvTcl'iickle a 1939 Taxicab License,
as leer his request filed with the Board of Commissioners February 6,
1939, was taken up by the Board of Commissioners. Commissioner
Branson moved that request be granted. No second. Motion lost.
Ernest V. iiartin made application for approval of
frame building to be erected at the southwest corner of hdarietta Avenue
and dive street. Commissioner Jackson moved that application be ap-
proved by the Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted.
A claim for damages in the amount of N4,750.00 was received
from The Homestead Building and Loan Association. Commissioner Branson
moved that same be rejected.
On motion of Commissioner Jackson the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
