My dear 4r. ?yiorgenstern:
My attention has been drawn to the fact that
officially I still am a member of
The Salina Public Library Board, and
The Salina Welfare Board.
I am afraid that, dueto my illness, I have
not been a very efficient public servant, in either
of these connections, of late.
Because it does not seem likely that I will
be ready to assume the responsibility of membership
on either of those Boards in the near future, please
accept my resignation from each.
I am sure that you will find men, worthy of
these public confidences, to succeed me.
With best personal wishes, I remain,
Sincerely yours,
