COiJI ISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR IviEETING
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners December 19,
1938. Meeting was called to order by Acting L'ayor Jackson, the roll
was called and Commissioners Jackson, Branson, Ferm and Mitchell and
City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Morgenstern absent.
The minutes of the Regular meeting of December 12, 1938, were j
read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an
appropriation for the payment of certain claims."

On motion of Commissioner kitchell the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its finaladoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; A es: Jackson, Branson, Ferm and Mitchell
(4) Nays: 0) Commissioner �.orgenstern absent. heting Mayor ap-
proved the ordinance and it it snumbered 4919.

An ordinance was introduced entitled: "Ari ordinance making appro-
priation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Mitchell the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final a doption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Jackson, Branson, Ferm and Twit-
chell (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Morgenstern absent. Acting mayor
approved the ordinance and it is numbered No. A -l.
A petition was presented asking for the installation -,of a street
light at the intersection of Highland Circle and gest Republic Av(.nue.
Same was referred to the City Manager. �
Public hearing was held for the following changes in Zoning
Ordinance: By placing Lots 1 and 3 Seitz Second Addition located at
Ninth Street and Crawford Avenue from "A" Residential to "C" Commercial.
Moved by Commissioner Mitchell that action on same be deferred until
the next Regular Meeting. blotion adopted.
A. L. Manning requested approval of plans for building to be
constructed on lot east of Fuller Brothers property on East Pacific.
On motion of Commissioner Branson plans were approved provided gasoline
pumps set back at least twelve feet from line extended from front of
Fulle r Building. Motion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Mitchell the Board of Commissioners
adjourned to meet December 28, 1938 at 4:30 P. M.
City Clerk
