Special meeting of the Board of Commissioners December 19, 1938.
Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Jackson, the roll was called
and Commissioners Jackson, Ferm, Branson and Mitchell and City Attorney
Norris responded. Commissioner Morgenstern absent.
Meeting was held for the purpose of acting on the appraisers
reports for the curbing and guttering of:
CLARK STREET from the north line of Walnut Street to the south

line of Marietta Avenue;
DELAWARE AVENUE from the south line of Iron Avenue to the center
line of Johnstown Avenue;
DES MOINES AVENUE from the north line of Ash Street to the
south line of Elm Street;

EIGHTH STREET from t he north line of Pacific Avenue to the
north line of Harsh Street;
JOHNSTOWN AVENUE from the east line of Columbia Avenue to the �
east line of Kansas Avenue;
KANSAS AVENUE from the south line of Iron Avenue to the north
line of Gypsum Avenue;
MERRILL STREET from the south line of Crawford. Avenue to the
north line of Wilson Street;

OAKDALE AVENUE from the south line of Johnstown Avenue to the
south line of Ash Street;
REPUBLIC AVENUE from the east line of Eleventh Street to the i
west line of Sherman Street; and

TENTH STREET from the north line of Frost Street to the north

The appraisers report for the curbing and guttering of Clark
Street from the north line of Walnut Street to the south line oT -

severally sworn according to law, each for himself, does hereby solemnly
swear that he is disinterested in any of the property liable to special
assessment for the cost of curbing and guttering Clark Street from the
north line of Walnut Street to the south line of Marietta Avenue in the
City of Salina, Kansas, as more particularly described and provided for
in Ordinance Number 4911 of the City of Salina, Kansas, and that each
of us will to the best of our judgment and ability make a true and im-
partial appraisement of all the lots and pieces of ground abutting on
such street as above mentioned, without regard to the buildings or
improvements thereon, for the distance improved as set forth and desig-
nated by the Board of Commissioners in the ordinance above mentioned.
