COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
j Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners November 21, 1938.
Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Jackson, the roll was called
and Commissioners Branson, Perm, Jackson and Mitchell and City httorne7
Norris responded. Commissioner Morgenstern absent.

The minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 14, 1938 were
read and approved as read.
Continental Oil Company presented plans and application for
approval of driveway approaches across curb at southwest corner of
Ninth and Broadway. On motion of Commissioner Branson plans and appli-
cation approved by the Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted.
A. B. Andreen presented application for approval of application
for building permit for duplex at rear of lot at southwest corner of
Highland k venue and Ellsworth Avenue. (60 x 55) for new duplex.).
Duplex to have ten feet set -back, building 30 feet deep from Ellsworth.
Approved on motion of Commissioner Witchell.
Taxicab Insurance Policies numbered 41672 and 41673, written
by Lloyd's of London, for Bell Taxi Company and LeLuxe dab Company, pre-
sented for ayproval. On motion of Commissioner Perm policies referred
to the City attorney for examination and report.
Application for taxicab drivers license for the balance of 1938
received from:
Terrell French.

City Engineer filed Final Estimate of Cost for the curbing and
guttering of:
Clark Street from the south line of Walnut Street to the north
line of Spruce Street;
Columbia Avenue from the south line of Iron Avenue to the north
line of Gypsum venue;
Front Street from the north line of Iron Avenue to the south
line of Ash ;:$treet;
Seventh Street from the north line of Pacific Street to the
south line of Harsh venue; and for paving
A1lelying between Fifth Street and Santa Pe Avenue from the
south lineof Walnut `'treet to the north line of Lumberry Street.,
as filed in office of City Clerk November 21, 1938. On motion of Commie
sioner Branson estimates were approved by the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An
ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying special assessments
on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of alina to pay the
cost of curbing and guttering Clark Street from the south line of
Walnut Street to the north line of pruce treet; Columbia Avenue from
the south line of Iron Avenue to the north line of Gypsum Avenue;
Front Street from the north line of Iron Avenue to the south line of
Ashtreet; Seventh Street from the north line of Pacific Street to t11 -
south
11 -south line of Harsh venue; and for the paving of theal�le _lying be-
tween Santa Fe J' -venue and Fifth Street from the northi� nem Mulberry
Street to the south line of Walnut Street; and relating to and provid-
ing for the collection and payment of such assessments." Referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner ZIitchell the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
