assessments for the cost of curbing and Guttering:

On notion of Commissioner Branson the appointments were con-
firmed by the Board of Corimissioners.
A Resolution was introduced entitled:' "A Resolution authoriz-
ing and approving a contract between the City of Salina and the Atchis-
on, Topeka and Santa r'e Railway Company for the construction and main-
tenance by the City of a water pipe line in Chicago Street under the r
tracks of said railway company.11

On motion of Commissioner Branson the resolution was adopted
as read and on i s final adoption the roll was called and the follow-
ing vote was had; Aes: 1',.or ens tern, Branson, r'erm, Jackson and Ciit- f
chell (5) Nays: (OT I:ayor approved the resolution and it is num -
bered 756.
The above resolution is recorded in full on Page 119 Resolu-
tion Boot: jjum ber 3.
The contract referred to in Resolution number 756 was read,
and on motion of Commissioner laitchell the ieayor and City Clerk were
duly authorized to sign the same.
