Special meeting of the Board of Commissioners September 26,
1938. P,Ieeting was c alled to order by Acting 1.1ayor Jackson, the roll
was called and Commissioners Jackson, Branson, Ferm and I'aitchell and
City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner 1,Iorgenstern absent.
I,`eeting was held for the purpose of acting; on the appraisers
reports for the curbing and guttering of:
CLARK STREET from the south line of Walnut Street to the
north line of Spruce Street;
COLULM IA AVENUE from the south line of Iron Avenue to the north
line of Gypsum Avenue;
FRONT STREET from the north line of Iron Avenue to the south
line of Ash Street;
SEVENTH STREET from the north line of Pacific Street to the
south line of Harsh Street;
KIR'.'r'IN AVENUE from the west line of Santa Fe Avenue to the
east line of Highland Avenue; and paving
ALLEY lying between Santa Fe Avenue and Fifth Street from the
south line of I,ulberry Street to the north line of Walnut Street.
The appraisers report for the curbing and guttering of Clark
Street from the south line of Walnut Street to the north line of
Spruce Street was t aken up and r ead as follovis: I

and severally sworn according to law, each for himself, does hereby
solemnly swear that he is disinterested in any of the property liable
to special assessment for the cost of curbing and guttering Clark
Street from the south line of "Jalnut Street to the north line of Spruce
Street, as more particularly described and provided for in Ordinance
Number 4866 of the City of Salina, Kansas, and that each of us will
to the best of our judgment and ability make a true and impartial
app raisement of all the lots and pieces of ground abutting on such
street as above mentioned, without regard to the buildings or improve-
ments thereon for the distance improved as set forth and designated by
