COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
SEPTEMBER 2, 1938
BE IT RETMEMBERED, that on this Friday evening, September 2,
1938, the Board of Commissioners met as a Board of Canvassers, (ex -
officio), as provided by law, to canvass the vote cast at the Special
School Bond Ele ction held August 30, 1938.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll
was called and Commissioners Morgenstern, Branson, Ferm, Jackson and
uiitchell and City Attorney Norris responded.

The returns of the Special Election were pesented by the City
Clerk and opened in the presence of the Commissiorers assembled,
duly canvassed and the result declared. The City Clerk was directed
by vote of the Board to spread upon the records the result of the
canvass which is as follows:

On motion of Commissioner Ferm the report aril findings of the
Canvassing Board were approved and ordered spread upon the records.
On motion of Commissioner Jackson the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
