CONIIISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
Regular meeting; of the Board of Connissioners August 30,
1937. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll
was called and Commissioners Y-or6 enstern, Branson, Ferm, Jackson and
Mitchell and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular bleetine of August 23, 1937
were read and approved as read.
Ruhling Hardware Company asked permission to conduct an
Auction Sale for two days to close out the balance of their stock of
goods. Commissioner Branson moved that request be grantedo lotion
adopted.
A petition was presented asking for the curbing and €ut-
tering of Columbia Avenue from Iron Avenue to Gypsum Avenue. Same
was referred to the City Engineer.
A petition was presented asking for the paving of Beloit
Avenue from Highland Circle to Funston Street. Same was granted.
A resolution was introduced for first reading; entitled:
"A Resolution relating to the paving of Beloit Avenue from the west
line of Highland Circle to the east line of Flnston Street." Same
was referred to the Board of Conmis s Toners .
On motion of Cormis s Toner Jackson the Board of Cormnis s ion-
crs adjourned.
