Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners August 2, 1937.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was called
and Commissioners Morgenstern, Branson, Farm and Mitchell and City At-
torney Norris responded, Commissioner Jackson absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of 3aly 26, 1937 were read
and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
an appropriation for the payment of certain claims*"
On motion of Commissioner Farm the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its finala� doption the roll wascalled and
the following vote wls had; Ayes: Morgenstern, Branson, Farm and Mit-
chell (4) Nays: (0 Commissioner Jackson absent. Magor approved
the ordinance and it -is numbered 4767.
The following claim to be paid from Relief Highway Fund was
presented for payment:
Chas. E. Banker, City Clerk, Cash paid out for labor $302.32
Commissioner Farm moved that claim be approved by the Board of
Commissioners. Motion adopted.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an
appropriation from the Relief Highway hind for the payment of a certain
claim."
On motion of Commissioner Mitchell the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll wase alled and
the following vote was h�d; Ayes: i+;orgenstern, Branson, Farm and
Mitchell (4) Nays: (0 Commissioner Jackson absent. Mayor approved
the ordinance and it is numbered 4768.
Application for taxicab drivers license received from:
Oscar Noel
On motion of Commissioner Farm application was approved by the
Board of Commissioners* motion adopted.
The following application for Cereal Dalt Beverage License
was presented, and on motion of Commissioner Farm was approved by the
Board of Commissioners, and the City Clerk was directed to issue li-
cense to the applicant as follows:

was presented, and on motion of Commissioner Perm was approved by the

resolution relating to the paving of Sunset Drive from the west line
