Special meeting of the Board of Commissioners July 6, 1937.
Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Jackson, the roll was
called and Commissioners Jackson, Branson, Fern and Mitchell and City
Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Morgenstern absent.
lvleeting was held for the purpose of acting on the apprais-
ers reports or the curbing and guttering of:
Custer Street from the south line of Crawford Avenue to the
north line of Republic Avenue;
Eleventh Street from the north line of Frost Street to the
north line of Republic Avenue; and
Phillips Street from the south line of Prescott Avenue to
the north line of Charles Street.
The appraisers report for the curbing and guttering of
Custer Street from the south line of Crawford Avenue to the north line
of Republic Avenue was taken up and read as follows:

solemnly swear that he is disinterested in any of the property liable
to special assessment for the cost of curbing and guttering Custer
Street` from the south line of Crawford Avenue to the north line of i

Ordinance Number 4740 of the City of Salina, Kansas, and that each of us
will to the best of our judgment and ability amke a true and impartial
appraisement of all the lots and pieces of ground abutting on such
street as above mentioned, without regard to the buildings or improvements;
thereon, for the distance improved as set forth and designated by the
Board of Commissioners in the ordinance above mentioned. So help us

adopted.
