COMMISSIUNERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.

I Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners kardh 29,
1937. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Peters, the roll was
called and Commissioners Peters, Jackson, Mitchell, Morgenstern
and Surface and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 22, 1937
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
an appropriation for the payment of miscellaneous claims."`

On motion of Commissioner Mitchell the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes; Peters, Jackson,
Mitchell, Morgenstern and Surface (5) Nays: k0 Mayor approved
the ordinance and it is numbered 4730.
Application for license to sell malt and cereal beverages
in the City of Salina received from:

RETAIL CLASS "Bs MALT & CEREAL BEVEiAGE DEALERS LICENSE
Ray Tidrick, d/b/ a Tip Top Cafe, 310 E. Pacific
On motion of Commissioner Surface application was approved
by the Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted.
A petition was presented asking for the curbing and gut-
tering of Clark Street from State Street to Marietta Avenue.
Same was referred to the City Engineer.
Application of Edith Tompkins, owner and Frank Fessler,
contractor, to grant building permit for duplex and garage at
602 University Place as per plans submitted to Building Inspector
was presented. Commissioner Morgenstern moved that application
be approved. Motion adopted.

On motion of Commissioner Surface the Board of Commission-
ers adjourned.
