Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners February
22, 1937. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Peters, the roll was
called and Commissioners Peters, Jackson, Mitchell, Morgenstern and
Surface Anal City -A Atto'rn'ey Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 15, 1937
were read and approved as read.
Applications for taxicab drivers license received as follows:
Ralph W. Johnson Oscar W. Peterson
R. G. Souder R. E. Willey
Commissioner Morgenstern moved that applications be approved
by the Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted. �
A petition was presented asking for the curbing and gut-
tering of Phillips Street from Prescott Avenue to Charles Street.
Same was referred to the Board of Commissioners.
A resolution was introduced for first reading entitled:
"A Resolution relating to the curbing and guttering of Phillips Street
From Prescott Avenue to Charles Street." Same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
A resolution was introduced for first reading entitled:
"A Resolution relating,; to the curbing and guttering of Custer Street
from Crawford Avenue to Republic Avenue."Same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
Automobile Liability Policy was received from The Salina
Transit Company. Same was not accepted by the Board of Commissioners.
City Manager recommended the revocation of taxicab drivers
license No. 11 issued to Lloyd Cook and Number 49 issued to Leonard
Hlayo. On motion of Commissioner Surface recommendation was approved
by the Hoard of Commissioners. Motion adopted.
