RESOLUTION NUMBER 96-4996
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO
THOMAS W. WRIGHT FOR SERVING AS A FIREFIGHTER, FIRE LIEUTENANT,
FIRE TRAINING CAPTAIN, DIVISION CHIEF AND DEPUTY FIRE CHIEF FOR
THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF SALINA FROM AUGUST 15, 1965 TO
APRIL 1, 1996.
WHEREAS, during the period from August 15, 1965 to April 1, 1996,
THOMAS W. WRIGHT, served as a Firefighter, Fire Lieutenant, Fire Training
Captain, Division Chief and Deputy Fire Chief for the Fire Department of the
City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, THOMAS W. WRIGHT has demonstrated invaluable and
dedicated service to the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of
the City of Salina are worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation
to THOMAS W. WRIGHT, for his dedicated and faithful service as a
Firefighter, Fire Lieutenant, Fire Training Captain, Division Chief and Deputy
Fire Chief for the Fire Department of the City of Salina, be and the same is
hereby entered upon the official records of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this
resolution delivered to THOMAS W. WRIGHT.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 25th day of March, 1996.
