JANUARY 30, 1937.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners January 30,
1937. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Peters, the roll was
called and Commissioners Peters, Mitchell and Surface, and City Attor-
ney Norris responded. Co mmissioners Jackson and Morgenstern
absent.
City Engineer submitted plans and specifications and
estimate of cost for the curbing and guttering of:
Phillips Street from Charles Street to Crawford Avenue;
nirwin Avenue from Ninth Street to Highland Avenue
Oakdale Avenue from Elm Street to a point 550 feet
north of Elm Street;
Connecticut Avenue from Iron Avenue to Johnstown Avenue;
Eleventh Street from Frost Street to Republic Avenue;
and for the recurbing and reguttering and paving of:
Eighth Street from Ash Street to Iron Avenue;
Eighth Street from Iron Avenue to Walnut Street;
and for the paving of the unpaved portion of Ninth Street from
Jewell Street to Cloud Street.
Commissioner Surface moved that the plans and specifi-
cations and estimate of cost be approved; and that the City Clerk
advertise for bids for such work to be published three times in the
official City paper, and to be submitted at meeting of the Board of
Commissioners 4:30 P. Pr1. on February 4, 1937. Motion carried.
On motion of Commissioner Surface the Board of Commis-
sioners adjourned.
