COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS
DECEMBER 28, 1936.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners December 282
1936. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Peters, the roll was called
and Commissioners Peters, Jackson, Mitchell, Morgenstern and Surface
and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 21, 1936
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An
ordinance relating to and fixing the salaries and wages of certain
officers and employees of the City of Salina.'
On motion of Commissioner Surface the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Peters, Jackson, Mitchell,
Morgenstern and Surface (5) Nays: (0) Magor approved the ordinance
and it is numbered 4710.
Commissioner Jackson moved that a special permit be granted
to Wissing Brothers to construct a metal implement building west of
Tenth Street and North of North Street. Motion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Surface the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
