05-25-1936 Minutes - Special1 15 COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, SPECIAL MEETING COMMISSIONERS ROOM, j SALINA.. KANSAS. MAY 25, 1936. Special meeting of the Board of Commissioners May 25, 1936. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Peters, the roll was called and Commissioners Peters, Jackson, Mitchell, Morgenstern and Surface and City Attorney Norris responded. The meeting was held for the purpose of acting on the apprais- ers reports for the paving of Tenth Street from the south line of Elm Street to the north line of Park Street; For the re -paving of Santa Fe Avenue from the north line of Elm Street to the north right-of-way ling of the main line Right-of-way of the Union Pacific Railroad Company; and For the re -curbing of Santa Fe Avenue from a point 130 feet south of the south line of Pine Street to the south line of Lincoln Avenue. The appraisers report for the paving of Tenth Street from the south line of Elm Street to the north line of Park Street was taken up and read as follows: STATE OF KANSAS ) ) SS. COUNTY OF SALINE ) We, John Frederick, Lewis W. Carl and E. D. Martin being duly and severally sworn according to law, each for himself, does hereby solemnly swear that he is disinterested in any of the property liable to special assessment for the cost of paving Tenth Street from the south line of Elm Street to the north line of Park Street, as more particularly described and provided for in Ordinance No. 4555 of Salina, Kansas; and that each of us will to the best of our judgment and ability make a true and impartial appraisement of all the lots and pieces, of ground abutting on such street as above mentioned without regard to the buildings or improvements thereon, for the distance improved as set forth and designated by the Board of Commissioners in the ordinance above mentioned.
