ORDINANCE NUMBER 86-9152
AN ORDINANCE LEVYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS AGAINST CERTAIN
LOTS AND PIECES OF PROPERTY TO PAY THE COST OF SIDEWALK REPAIR ON
CERTAIN LOTS AND PARTS OF LOTS IN THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE
COUNTY, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby levied and assessed
against the lots and
pieces of property hereinafter
described,
an assessment for
the purpose of paying the cost of sidewalk repair
on said lots
and parts of lots,
said sidewalk having
been repaired as provided for
by K.S.A.
12-1808, pursuant
to notice duly mailed
to the property owners, and
the various
amounts set forth
opposite the following
described lots and parts of lots, to wit
1-00860-01391 Lot 32, on Jewell Avenue, Grounds of Kansas
Wesleyan University Addition ................... $1,037.72
TOTAL
$1,037.72
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed and authorized to
immediately certify said assessments to the County Clerk of Saline County,
Kansas, to be placed upon the tax roll for collection in one installments, in the
year 1986, subject to the same penalties and collected in like manner as other
taxes.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
