ORDINANCE NUMBER 88-9285
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE
NUMBER 8526, THE SAME BEING CHAPTER 42 OF THE SALINA CODE, AND THE
ZONING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND PROVIDING
FOR THE REZONING, OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY AND
PRESCRIBING THE PROPER USES THEREOF.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning
District Map, the rezoning of certain property therein, hereinafter described has
been timely complied with, and SO NOW, THEREFORE,
Kansas: BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT 111-311. HEAVY INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, duly
adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 8526, the same being
Chapter 42 of the Salina Code, be and it is hereby amended so that the following
described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
Lots Two (2) and Three (3) , Block Two (2); Lots One (1 )
and Two (2), Block Three (3); Lots One (1), Two (2) and
Three (3), Block Four (4), all in the Airport Industrial
Center Subdivision in the City of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the South half (Sj) of
the Southeast Quarter (SEi) of said Section;
Thence on an assumed bearing of S00009'02"E along the East
line of said Southeast Quarter a distance of Thirteen
Hundred Twenty-two and Ninety Hundredths Feet (1322.901)
to the Southeast corner of said Southeast Quarter (SEJ);
Thence S88137118"W along the south line of said Southeast
Quarter (SES) a distance of Twenty-six Hundred Forty-seven
and Thirty-two Hundredths feet (2647.321) to the Southwest
corner of said Southeast Quarter;
Thence N00103'041W along the West line of said Southeast
Quarter (SES) a distance of Thirteen Hundred Forty-two and
Thirty-eight hundredths feet (1342.381) to the Northwest
corner of the South Half (Sj) of the Southeast Quarter
(SES) of said Section;
Thence N8910213211E along the North line of the South Half
(S#) of the Southeast Quarter (SES) a distance of
Twenty-six Hundred Forty-four and Sixty-four Hundredths
feet (2644.64') to the Northeast corner of the South half
(SU of the Southeast Quarter (SEIT), said point being the
point of beginning.
An Exception to the above tract is the East and South
Twenty-four and Seventy-five hundredths feet (24.751) ,
which is dedicated to public road right-of-way. Tract II
less said right-of-way contains 78.692 acres.

shall become a part of District 111-311. HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT. That
the use of said described property shall be subject to all the conditions,
restrictions and limitations as made and provided for in Ordinance Number 8526,
the same being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code with reference to the HEAVY
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT.
Section 2. That upon receipt of certification by the Office of the
Saline County Treasurer
that all ad valorem
property
taxes
are current
on the
real estate described in
Section 1, the City
Clerk is
hereby
directed to
publish
this ordinance in the official city newspaper.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
