ORDINANCE NUMBER 88-9267
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE
NUMBER 8526, THE SAME BEING CHAPTER 42 OF THE SALINA CODE, AND THE
ZONING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND PROVIDING
FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY AND
PRESCRIBING THE PROPER USES THEREOF.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning
District Map, the rezoning of certain property therein, hereinafter described has
been timely complied with, and SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT 111-211. LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, duly
adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 8526, the same being
Chapter 42 of the Salina Code, be and it is hereby amended so that the following
described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
A tract of land located in Section Thirty-four (34) ,
Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Three (3) West of the
Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of Block 9B of the
Schilling Subdivision of the City of Salina, Saline
County;
Thence South Eighty-nine degrees fifty-three minutes
thirty-six seconds West (S89153136"W) along the north
right-of-way line of Summers Road, a distance of three
hundred thirty-five feet (335.01) to the southeast
corner of Block 9A which is the point of beginning;
Thence South eighty-nine degrees fifty-three minutes
thirty-six seconds West (S89153136"W) along the north
right-of-way line of Summers Road, a distance of three
hundred forty feet (340.0') ;
Thence North zero degrees six minutes thirty-six
seconds West (N0010613611W) a distance of three hundred
ten feet (310.0');
Thence North eighty-nine degrees fifty-three minutes
twenty-four seconds East (N89053'24"E) a distance of
three hundred forty feet (340.0') ;
Thence South zero degrees six minutes twenty-four
seconds East (N00°06124"W) a distance of three hundred
ten feet (310.01) to the point of beginning.
(This tract contains 2.42 acres, more or less.
All in Schilling Subdivision of the City of Salina, Saline
County, Kansas
shall become a part of District "1-2". LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT. That the
use of said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions
and limitations as made and provided for in Ordinance Number 8526, the same
being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code with reference to the LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT.
Section 2. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "1-1". INDUSTRIAL PARK
DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, duly
adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 8526, the same being
Chapter 42 of the Salina Code, be and it is hereby amended so that the following
described property be rezoned as follows, to-wit:
The West three hundred twenty-seven feet (327') of Block
Eight (8),
The East five hundred sixty-six feet (5661) of Block Seven
(7) ,
Block Nine (9), less the South three hundred ten feet (310')
feet of the East six hundred seventy-five feet (675')
thereof,
All in Schilling Subdivision of the City of Salina, Saline
County, Kansas
shall become a part of District "I-1". INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT. That the
use of said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions
and limitations as made and provided for in Ordinance Number 8526, the same
being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code with reference to the INDUSTRIAL PARK
DISTRICT.
Section 3. That upon receipt of certification by the Office of the
Saline County Treasurer that all ad valorem property taxes are current on the
real estate described in Section 1 , the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
this ordinance in the official city newspaper.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
