ORDINANCE NUMBER 89-9351
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF
WESTPORT BOULEVARD, A PUBLIC STREET IN WESTPORT EXCHANGE
ADDITION OF THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That a portion of Westport Boulevard, a public street in
Westport Exchange Addition of the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point 165.62 feet north of the Southwest
corner of Block 2 of the Westport Exchange Addition; thence
in a Northwesterly direction along a curve to the left having
a radius of 330.00 feet, an arc distance of 322.31 feet;
thence N.5505713811W. a distance of 212.40 feet; thence in a
Northwesterly direction along a curve to the right having a
radius of 215.74 feet, an arc distance of 203.03 feet; thence
N.02102'22"W. a distance of 796.44 feet; thence N.901W. a
distance of 31.11 feet to the North-South Quarter Section
line of said Section 15; thence S.0000211711W. a distance of
797.38 along the North-South Quarter Section line of said
Section 15; thence S.0210212211E. a distance of 0.69 feet;
thence in a Southeasterly direction along a curve to the left
having a radius of 275.74 feet, an arc distance of 259.50
feet; thence S.55157138"E. a distance of 212.40 feet; thence
in a Southeasterly direction along a curve to the right
having a radius of 270.00 feet, an arc distance of 263.71
feet; thence S.901E. a distance of 60.00 feet to the Point of
Beginning. The above described tract of land contains
80,519 sq. ft. or 1.8485 acres, more or less.
be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 2. That the vacated Westport Boulevard, vacated by this
Ordinance, shall revert to the adjacent property owners in accordance with
K.S.A. 13-443.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
