ORDINANCE NUMBER 89-9345
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF THE SOUTH TEN
FEET (101) OF WOODLAND AVENUE ADJACENT TO LOTS ONE (1) AND TWO
(2), BLOCK TEN (10), PACIFIC ADDITION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
That the south ten feet (101) of Woodland Addition adjacent
to Lot One (1) and Lot Two (2), not within the right-of-way of Broadway
Boulevard, Block Ten (10), Pacific Addition, including a portion of Woodland
Avenue described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 10, Pacific
Addition;
Thence north a distance of ten feet (10') ;
Thence east a distance of sixteen feet (16');
Thence south a distance of ten feet (101) to the northwest
corner of Lot 2, Block 10;
Thence west a distance of sixteen feet (16') to the point of
beginning, subject to the tract being retained by the City of
Salina as a utility easement.
and
A triangular tract of Lot 2, Block 10, described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said Lot 2;
Thence south to the north right-of-way line of
Broadway Bouleverd;
Thence northeasterly along said north right-of-way line
to its intersection with the south right-of-way line of
Woodland Avenue;
Thence west along said south right-of-way line to the
point of beginning.
be and the same is hereby vacated; provided, however, the City retains the
vacated portion of Woodland Avenue as a utility easement.
That the above described portion of Woodland Avenue,
which is vacated by this ordinance, shall revert to the adjacent property owners
in accordance with K.S.A. 13-443.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
