(Published in The Salina Journal October 4, 1989) ORDINANCE NUMBER 89-9344 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF A PUBLIC ALLEY IN HANLY'S ADDITION. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That a portion of a public alley in Hanly's Addition in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, more particularly described as follows: A tract of land 25' x 35' adjacent to the east side of Lot 5, Hanly's Addition and A tract of land 10' x 35' adjacent to the east side of Lot 6, Hanly's Addition be and the same is hereby vacated; provided, however, the City retains the vacated portion of the alley as a utility easement. Section 2. That the vacated portion of alley adjacent to the east side of Lot 5 shall revert to Lot 5 and the vacated portion of alley adjacent to the east side of Lot 6 shall revert to Lot 6 vacated by this ordinance, shall revert to the adjacent property owners in accordance with K.S.A. 13-443. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
