ORDINANCE NUMBER 89-9301
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF
SALINA, KANSAS, IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519
to 12-526, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the following land, to -wit:
A tract of land in the North Half of the Northeast Quarter
MNEU of Section Two (2) , Township Fifteen (15) South,
Range Three (3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in
Saline County, Kansas, lying west of Interstate 135, and
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter
(NES) of said Section Two (2);
Thence south along the west line of said Northeast Quarter
on an assumed bearing of zero degrees six minutes forty-two
seconds West (SO006142"W) a distance of one thousand three
hundred twenty and four hundredths feet (1,320.041) to the
southwest corner of the North Half of said Northeast
Quarter;
Thence South eighty-nine degrees fifty-six minutes
twenty-nine seconds East (S89056129"E) along the South line
of said North Half a distance of one thousand two hundred
ninety-six and five hundredths feet (1,296.05) to a point on
the west right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 135;
Thence North zero degrees twenty-six minutes twenty-four
seconds East (NO°26124"E) along said right-of-way a distance
of one thousand two hundred eight and forty-three feet
(1,208.43');
Thence continuing along said right-of-way North eighty-nine
degrees thirty-six minutes twenty-one seconds West
(N89036121"W) a distance of two hundred eighty-nine and
ninety-two hundredths feet (289.921);
Thence North zero degrees twenty-three minutes thirty-nine
seconds East (NO023139"E) a distance of one hundred four
and zero hundredths feet (104.001) to a point on the North
line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section Two (2);
Thence North eighty-nine degrees thirty-six minutes
twenty-one seconds West (N89036121"W) along said north line
a distance of one thousand thirteen and fifty-eight
hundredths feet (1,013.58') back to the point of beginning.
The above described tract of land contains thirty-eight and
fifty-eight hundredths (38.58) acres, more or less, and is
subject to the right-of-way of Schilling Road.
Also known as Country Oak Estates Addition.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A.
12-519 to 12-526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of
Salina, Kansas.
Section
2. That
all
property described in Section 1 hereof shall be
classed as lying
in District
PDD
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT.
Section
3. That
this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
