88-9295 Annex Airport Industrial Center(Published in The Salina Journal December 23, 1988) ORDINANCE NUMBER 88-9295 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526, INCLUSIVE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the following land, to -wit: A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter (SEi) of Section Three (3) , and the Southwest Quarter (SWj) of Section Two (2), Township Fifteen (15) South, Range Three (3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of the South half (Sj) of the Southeast Quarter (SES) of said Section Three (3) ; Thence North along the East line of the Southeast Quarter (SES) of said Section Three (3) on an assumed bearing of North zero degrees nine minutes two seconds West (N00°09'02"W) a distance of one thousand three hundred twenty-two and ninety-seven hundredths feet (1,322.971) to the northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter (SE -41) of said Section Three (3); Thence North eighty-nine degrees twenty-seven minutes forty-four seconds East (N89027'44"E) along the north line of the Southwest Quarter (SW*) of Section Two (2) a distance of twenty-four and seventy-five hundredths feet (24.75'); Thence South zero degrees nine minutes two seconds East (S0000910211E) parallel with the west line of the Southwest Quarter (SWC) of Section Two (2) a distance of two thousand five hundred seventy-five and fifty-one hundredths feet (2,575.511) to a point seventy feet (701) north of and twenty-four and seventy-five hundredths feet (24.75) east of the southwest corner of Section Two (2) ; Thence South eighty-eight degrees thirty-seven minutes eighteen seconds West (S89037118"W) parallel with the south line of the Southeast Quarter (SEJ) of Section Three (3) a distance of four hundred five and twenty-two hundredths feet (405.221); Thence North zero degrees three minutes four seconds West (N00003'04"W) along the west line of said Southeast Quarter (SES) a distance of one thousand two hundred ninety-two and thirty-eight hundredths feet (1,292.38') to the northwest corner of the South half (Sj) of the Southeast Quarter (SEJ) of Section Three (3); Thence South one degree twenty-two minutes forty-two seconds East (S01022142"W) a distance of twenty feet (20'); Thence South eighty-eight degrees thirty-seven minutes eighteen seconds West (S88037118"W) a distance of two thousand two hundred sixty-seven and twenty hundredths feet (2,267.201) Quarter (SES) to a point on the west line of the Southeast of Section Three (3) and fifty feet (501) north of the southwest corner of said Southeast Quarter (SEJ) ; Thence North zero degrees three minutes four seconds West (N00003'04"W) along the west line of said Southeast Quarter (SES) a distance of one thousand two hundred ninety-two and thirty-eight hundredths feet (1,292.38') to the northwest corner of the South half (Sj) of the Southeast Quarter (SEJ) of Section Three (3); Thence North eighty-nine degrees two minutes thirty-two seconds East (N89002132"E) along the north line of the South half (Si) of the Southeast Quarter (SES) of Section Three (3) a distance of two thousand six hundred forty-four and sixty-four hundredths feet (2,644.641) back to the Point of Beginning. The above described tract of land contains seventy-nine and nineteen hundredths (79.19) acres, more or less. meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas. Section 2. That all property described in Section 1 hereof shall be classed as lying in District 111-311, HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT. Section 3.
