Digital signage was a project that plans began for in 2021. Sam Switzer, Dustin Cumberland and Emilio Rivas completed the project. The signs allow us to market a variety of our services in a new way to reach everyone. Summer VolunTEEN Program Applications for summer teen volunteers are being taken until March 31st. Volunteers will help with a variety of library tasks in youth services and make a difference in their community! Tinker Tots - Youth We launched our Tinker Tots program. It’s a STEAM based program for kids ages 3-5. This month we worked with scales and tried to guess the weights of a variety of items. The kids had a great time! -Heather Mettlen, Youth Programs Coordinator Marketing https://salinapost.com/posts/1d11e3a9-2584-41cc-829e-52e6a59f5822 https://www.ksal.com/seed-library-is-open/ Comments Technology Staff Pat, Kylie and Hannah this month went "above and beyond" in assisting me with a newsletter I was attempting to do for a national organization. The person (in Miami, Florida) that was "feeding" me information to include is very particular in her work and was doing it at the last minute. These three women not only taught me a great deal of useful information but did their very best to keep me calm and provided me with listening ears and supportive shoulders. I have known for a long time how wonderful the staff is but they made what could have been a very difficult situation into something that isn't as bad a memory as it could have been. Too often this kind of assistance is not recognized—but I do want to recognize the immense amount of knowledge and capabilities they shared with me. Salina Public Library is fortunate to have them on staff. Sincerely, Judy K.
