COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
AUGUST 4th, 1924.
Regular Meeting of the Board of CommissioneRS, August
4th, 1924. 1feeting was called to order by Mayor argett,
the roll was called and Commissioners Hargett, Dyar, Chambers
and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 28th, 19242 _
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: 114n ordinance mak-
ing appropriations for miscellaneous purposes.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: "argett, Dyar
and Chambers (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor approved the same and
is numbered 3016.
Quarterly statement of Salina Municipal Band was present-
ed, read and ordered filed.
Tentative Budget of the City of Salina, Kansas for the
year 1925 was introduced for first reading.
Commissioner Dyar moved that the City advertise for bids
for Caterpillar Tractor to be used by the Street Department;
bids to be veceived up to and including Monday, August 11th,
1924 at 4 o clock P. M.
On motion of Commissioner Dyar, Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
