07-28-1924 MinutesCOMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR ME -T ING. COMMISSIONERS ROOM SALINA, KANSAS. JULY 28th, 1924. regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, July 28th, 1924. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Rargett, the roll was called and Commissioners Hargett, Dyar and Chambers and City . Attorney Norris responded. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 21st, 1924 were read and approved as read. The following resolution was introduced for second read- ing: BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of I'alina'Kansas that the re -paving of a part of that portion of Fifth Street hereinafter defined by the construction of a concrete base where necessary, the making of a sand cushion, the turning of the bricks now constituting the pave- ment and the replacement of the same where necessary and the asphalting of the surface and between bricks, on Fifth Street in the City of Salina, Kansas, from the south line of Ash Street to the north line of walnut Street therein be and the same is hereby determined to be a necessary improvement and that said Fifth Street in said City be so improved within the limits ahove defined.
