Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners,, October
27th; 1924. Meeting was called to order by Acting ayor
Dyar, the roll was called and Commissioners Dyar a d Chambers
and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner ,argett
absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of'October 20th,
1924 and adjourned i"eeting of October 24th, 1924 were read
and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled
"An ordinance specifying and selecting the material to be
used and letting a contract for the rercurbing and guttering
of Fifth Street in the City of Salina, Kansas from the south
line of Ash 6treet to the north line of Ialnut Stteet There-
in, (except the intersection of Fifth Street with Iron `'venue)
and for the re -paving of said Fifth Street from the south
line of "sh Street to the north line of �4alnut Street there-
in.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the ;olloving vote was had; Ayes:
Dyar and Chanbers (2) ays: (0) Co,-missioner Hargett
absent. Acting !.a.yor approved the same and is numbered 3039.
An ordinance ,-;as introduced for second reading entitled
"An ordinance defining the firelimits of the City of Salina,
Xansas and repealing Ordinance number 17?r8, passed and ap-
proved September 15th, 1913, Ordinance um�er 1842, passed
and approved May 17tb, 1915 and Ordinan6e umber 1927,
passed and approved -�'i rch 23rd, 1916, end all other ordinance
or parts thereof in conflict herewith.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the fglJowing vote was had; Ayes: : Dyar
and Chambers (2) Nays 0 Commissioner argett absent.
Acting Mayor approved the same and is numbered 3040.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers, Board of Commis-
sioners adjourned.
