SALINA, KANSAS.
APRIL 21st, 1924.
Regular T,eeting of the Board of Commissioners April
21st, 1924. Tleeting was called to order by Tolayor hargett, the
roll was coiled and Commissioners hargett, Dyar and Chambers
and City Attorney Dorris responded.
The minutes of the Regular 'Ye e t ing of April 14th., 1924.9
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled ; "An ordinance mak
ing appropriations for miscellaneous purposes."
On motion of Commissioner Dyar the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final a doption the roll was
calle and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hargett, Dyar and
Chambers (3) Nays: (0) ":he Mayor approved the same and is
numbered 2964.
An Ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance mak-
ing an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim."
On motion of Commissioner Dyar the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes Hargett, Dyar and
Chambers (3) Nays (0) The Mayor approved the same and is
numbered 2965.
A request from the -international Harvester Company was
received asking the City to vacate a certain portion of the
alley in exchange for a strip of ground for the use of an
alley near their building on Santa Fe Avenue north of Elm
Street.
The request was referred to the City lVanager for investi-
gation, and if he deemed same advisable to have the Uity
ttorney draft an ordinance to be presented at the next Regu-
lar T,ieeting of the City Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Dyar, Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
