Special Fleeting of the Board of Commissioners, Friday
April 11th, 1924, for the purpose of hearing any complaints
that may be made from property owners as to the appraisement
placed upon certain lots and pieces of land for the purpose
of paving:
PUTNAM AVENUE from South Street to Morrison Avenue;
BEW IT AVENUE from Santa Fe to Ninth Street;
UNIVERSITY PLACE from Baker to Missouri Pacific
Railway Tracks;
ELLSWORTH AVENUE from Santa Fe to highland Avenue;
EIGHTH STREET from Elm to Pine Streets;
MORRISON AVENUE from Tenth to Eleventh Streets;
ELEVENTH STREET from Park to Elm Streets;
ELEVENTH STREET from Morrison to y°lashington;
ELEVENTH STREET from Washington to Prescott;
MULBERRY STREET from Fifth to Second Streets;
SUNSET DRIVE from Ninth to Highland Circle;
SPRUCE STREET from Baker to Phillips Street;
HIGHLAND AVENUE from Beloit to Republic;
FRONT STREET from Elm to Pine Streets;
SANTA IT, AVENUE from 200 feet south to South
Street to Beloit Avenue;
IRON AVENUE from Penn to Delaware Avenue;
and for the curbing and guttering of:
THIRD STREET from Mulberry Street south to
Smoky Hill River.
T:Iayor Hargett presiding the roll was called and Com-
missioners Hargett, Dyar and �hambers and City Attorney Norris
responded.
The appraisers report for the curbing, guttering, exca-
vating, grading and paving of Putnam Avenue from South Street
to Morrison Avenue was taken up and read as follows:

and severally sworn according to law each for himself, does
hereby solemnly swear that he is an owner of real estate in
the City of Salina, Kansas and is disinterested in any of the
property liable to special assessment for the cost of curbing,
guttering, excavating, grading and paving Putnam Avenue in the
City of alina, Kansas from 1-Torrison Avenue to ouch treet
as more particularly described and _provided for in Ordinance
Number 2892 of the City of Salina; and that each of us will
to the best of our judgment and ability make a true and im-
partial appraisement of all the lots and pieces of ground
abutting on such respective street as above described without
regard to the buildings or improvements thereon, for the
distance to be improved as set forth and designated by the

On motion of Commissioner Dyar the appraisers report for
the excavating and grading of street car tracks on Santa Fe Avenue
from a point 200 feet south of South Street to Beloit `venue was
adopted as read. 1,11otion adopted.
The appraisers report for the excavating and grading of street
car tracks on Iron Avenue from Penn Avenue to belaftrAvenue was
taken up and read as follows:

ally sworn according to law, each for himslef, does hereby solemnly
swear that he is an owner of real estate in the City of Salina,
Saline County, Kansas and is disinterested in any of the property
li-t ble to special assessment for the cost of excavating, grading
and paving street railway tracks on Last Iron Avenue from the east
line of Penn Avenue to the west line of Delaware Otreet., as more
particularly described and provided for in Ordinance number 2928
of the City of Salina; and that each of as will to the best of our
judgment and ability make a true and impatrial appraisement of all
the lots and pieces of ground abutting on such respective streets
as above described, without regard to the buildings or improvements
thereon, the distance to be improved as set forth and designated
by the Board of Commissioners in said Ordinance Number 2928 of the
