Adjourned meeting of the Board of Commissioners
February 6th, 1924. Meeting was called to order by
Llayor Hargett, the roll was called and the Commissioners
Hargett, Dyar and Chambers and City Attorney Norris
responded.
A resolution was introduced for first reading
providing for the transferring of X1000.00 from the
Revolving Fund to the Sinking Fund.
On motion, same was referred to the Board of
Commissioners.
Sealed bids were received for the paving of
certain streets as advertised for, and opened by
the City Clerk in the presence of the Board of
Commissioners from:
Reed & Wheelock,
J. B. Matt,
Ziegler & Dalton,
Kaw Paving Company,
Stamey & 11ackey,
J. H. Shears & Sons,,
Cook & 16ansom,
Fred F. Eberhardt,
C. P. Barrington.
Commissioners Dyar moved that the contract for
the curbing, guttering, excavating, grading and
paving of certain streets as advertised for be _
awarded to C. P. Barrington for brick paving in
accordance with his bid submitted, and that the
checks of the unsuccessful bidders be returned
to them by the City Clerk. 1.1otion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers, Board
of Commissioners adjourned.
