COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, ADJOURNED 11EETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
DECEMBER 19th, 1923.
Adjourned Meeting of the Board of Commissioners,
December 19th, 1923. Meeting was called to order by Mayor
Hargett, the roll was called and Commissioners Hargett, Dyar
and Chambers and City Attorney Norris responded.
Bids were received for motor driven `Pick -Up Street
Sweeper" as advertised for as follows:
Elgin Street Sweeper Company, $6712.39
Henry Bruening (Fordson Sweeper) $1117.90
Mutual Equipment Company, $10,123.00
Austin Mfg. Company X7000.00
Commissioner Dyar moved that the bid of Austin Manufact-
uring Company for "Austin Motor Pick -Up Sweeper' be accepted
as per their bid, whit is in figures and words as follows:
One (1) Austin Motor Pick -Up Sweeper
with extra pick-up broom, extra set
filled segments for gutter broom,
tools and extra parts as per attached
list and in accordance with detailed
specifications herewith, for the sun
of $7 ,000.00 F. 0 B. Salina , Kansas ,
payable $2400.00 in cash on delivery
and acceptance; $'2300.00 January
20th, 1925; $2300.00 January 20th,
1926; $100.00 discount if ordered
not later than December 20th, 1923,
6% interest per annum, interest from
delivery and acceptance. To be
shipped to City of Salina via short
route at Galina, State of Kansas on
or about within ten days.
On motion of Commissioner Chanbers, Board of Commission-
ers adjourned.
