SALINA, KANSAS.
NOVEMBER 12th, 1923.
Regular Ifeeting of the Board of Commissioners,November
12th, 1923. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Hargett,
the roll was called and Conmiissioners Hargett and Chambers and
City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Dyar absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 5th,
1923 were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance
making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim."
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Har-
gett and Char;1bers (2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Dyar absent.
The Mayor approved the same and is numbered 2876.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance

On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was

gett and Chambers (2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Dyar absent.
The Mayor approved the same and is numbered 2877.
Mayor Hargett appointed the following; named persons to
act as members of the Board of Trustees in connection with
the Salina Municipal Band:
V!. F. Grosser, for a term of 3 years
C. H. Gawthrop, It it tt It 2 It
C. J. Gross it it It It 1 it
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the appointments were
confirmed.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers, Board of Commission-
ers adjourned.
